Katrin Gajndr is recognized as one of the pioneering figures of burlesque in Russia and has established herself as a leading international performer.
She is known for her striking stage presence, refined aesthetic, and uncompromising professionalism.
Her work blends the elegance of classic Hollywood glamour with a bold, distinctive artistic vision, creating performances that are both visually captivating and deeply atmospheric.
Each act is developed with a meticulous approach — from concept and costume to music and staging — resulting in a refined and distinctive artistic language.

Trained as a professional dancer from an early age, Katrin developed a strong technical foundation that continues to shape her work today.
Her fascination with burlesque began in her teenage years, influenced by gothic aesthetics, rock music and noir cinema — a world that would soon define her artistic direction.
Shortly after turning eighteen, she secured her first performance, marking the beginning of a career built on instinct, determination and a clear artistic vision.
In pursuit of authenticity, Katrin immersed herself in the history of burlesque, studying archival materials, vintage publications and the evolving image of the femme fatale across different eras.
In 2020, she relocated to Europe, where her work had already begun to gain recognition. Now based in Berlin, she continues to perform internationally.
Beyond the stage, Katrin actively promotes burlesque and vintage glamour as a refined and relevant form of contemporary artistic expression.

In 2015, Katrin was awarded the title “Queen of Classical Burlesque” at a festival in Moscow — the same year she made her European debut. Since then, she has performed internationally at both large-scale productions and exclusive private events.
Her work has been featured across a wide range of artistic and cultural platforms, from cabaret and theatre to fashion, film and music. She has collaborated with international artists, appeared in music videos, and toured in Germany with the band Samsas Traum.
Katrin has also appeared in German cinema, including a role in the film Lindenberg! Mach Dein Ding and a recent appearance in Miroirs No. 3 by Christian Petzold.
She works in ongoing collaboration with photographer Carlos Kella and has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Playboy and FHM.
Katrin is regularly invited as a jury member to international competitions and has been part of the jury at the Berlin Music Video Awards since 2018.
Alongside her performance career, she develops original productions, designs costumes for herself and other artists, and shares her expertise through workshops and private coaching.
