The prop for the show "Champagne Girl" is a dismountable construction. This means it can be taken anywhere.
1. Size and weight of the glass.
When assembled, the glass is about 150 cm high.
The weight of the assembled glass without water is about 43 kg, with water about 50 kg.
The weight of the glass in parts is about 20 kg (the frame) and 23 kg (the bowl).
2. Transportation*.
- By car.
In Berlin and nearby cities, the customer is responsible for transportation to and from the location.
The customer shall also provide transportation to the airport or train station upon the artist's arrival/departure.
For this purpose, a car of the "minivan" type or another car with appropriate capacity is suitable.
- By train.
The possibility of transportation by train is negotiable depending on the location. Please specify this in your request.
- By airplane.
Three pieces of luggage (bulky baggage) of 32 kg each are required. The baggage must be insured, as the airport staff are quite careless with it, despite all the warnings that the baggage is "fragile".
*For all bookings Katrin travels with an assistant. When booking train or plane tickets, please note that tickets must be purchased for two people each way.
3. Parameters of the show area.
First of all, it should be noted that the larger the performance space, the better and more spectacular the show will be.
The area required by the glass is approximately 2x2 meters.
It is desirable to have a free area that roughly corresponds to the sketch below (the size of the free area should be about 6x4 meters).
If the show area does not have such free space, Katrin can walk around between the tables during the performance and then return to the glass and continue the show there.
4. Extras.
Katrin prefers to work with water in a glass. This way the act looks more spectacular, exciting and interesting. However, if the venue is not suitable for spraying water (e.g. a small room with lots of equipment), the confettis can be used. It is also possible to minimize the splashing of water by using less water.
For the show element, the client provides a bottle of Champagne brut or a bottle of Prosecco shortly before the performance.
The entire assembly and disassembly of the props is carried out by Katrin's assistants, but two or three people are needed shortly before the performance to place the assembled glass and water on the "stage" or show area and to carry it away after the performance. This process is well-practiced and takes about 30 seconds.
It is also advisable to inform the cleaning staff that the floor should be wiped down immediately at the end of the performance.
On request, Katrin's costume can be replaced by another one if you want it to be in the style of the 1920s, for example. Or if the event has a color dress code.
